Paumanok, Long Island, NY

Founded in 1983, the winery produces today on 123 acres 150‘000 bottles. Ursula and Charles Massoud have German and Lebanese ancestors. Paumanok is the Algonkin word for „whale“. You can see the whale easily if you see the Long Island’s shape on a map. Can you believe that this place is only 40 miles from NYC? All wines are „Estate Grown“, no other grapes are purchased. The three sons are also fully integrated in the Paumanok Biz.
