Lafond Winery

In 1971 Pierre Lafond started his second winery after Santa Barbara Winery. The ojective of the new Lafond winery stays to create Top Pinot Noir which can compete with Burgundy. Due to the higher elevation of the Santa Rita Hills this varietal feels very well there. The winery today is led by son David Lafond who farms 130 acres.
