Honig

In the heart of the Napa Valley - the Honig winery was founded in 1964 by Louis Honig. At the age of 22 grandson Michael Honig took over. The winery had financial problems at that time. He walked through the streets of San Francisco and tried to sell the wines which were also delivered by himself. As he was 75% of his time on tour to sell his wines he was called the „James Brown of the wine industry“. Furthermore, Michael is one of the pioneers of sustainable farming in the Valley. Today, they are doing great.
