Domaine Carneros,

The French realized very early the potential of the Carneros region in the southern part of the Napa Valley. In 1987 the well known French champagne producer Taittinger bought 138 acres - Domaine Carneros was born. From the beginning the objective was to create an American champagne – excuse me – Sparkling wine that could compete with the best French champagnes. Eileen Crane, a dynamic oenologist was the winemaker from scratch and still is. All wines are produced according to the CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) organically.
