Cline Cellars

Fred Cline is a graduate from the famous UC Davis. Already his grandfather owned a winery. In 1991 he and his wife Nancy purchased 350 acres in Sonoma and started their own winery. The focus is on Syrah, Mourvèdre, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. No chemicals are used in the vineyards. Between the rows, grazing sheeps are loosening the ground and they add natural fertilizer. The entire energy con-sumption is produced by own solar panels. The water management is state of art. Every day, the soil is checked in order to make sure that no water is waisted.
