The winery was founded 1994 by Greg Popovich. Greg has developed an interesting business modell. He buys and vinifies the best grapes throughout California. Bottling takes place at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery. The money they save this way is invested in the quality of the purchased grapes. Castle Rock serves over 10‘000 restaurants in the US. The annual production is about 1 million bottles. The quality of the wines is clearly above the asked price.
